When emergency strikes, Catholic Charities of Shreveport wants to offer a helping
hand. We do this in two ways. One way we assist people is by paying a bill like their
rent or utility after assessing their need on a case by case basis, and secondly we
offer financial education to help people better prepare for life’s unexpected
emergencies.
When we are unable to help, we try to find a social service provider in the community
to assist. During these difficult economic times the needs are great and we try to assist
as much as our resources will allow us.
