OUR SERVICES

At Catholic Charities of Shreveport, we strive to meet the growing needs of
our community with the following programs and services:

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
Needs based program for assistance with rent, utilities, food and other daily needs
as well as referrals to other local agencies that may be able to assist.

IMMIGRATION
Our Immigration and Family Services practitioner works with individuals who need
help in navigating forms, legal documents, immigration standing and understanding
the requirements necessary for immigrants and their families to successfully live
in our community.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION
Understand the impact of one’s credit score, banking basics, how to manage your
income, predatory lending, saving for the future and asset building.

PARISH SOCIAL MINISTRY
Promotes ongoing development of social ministry activities at the parish level by
individual consultation and instruction.

DISASTER RELIEF
Assists individuals, families and communities affected by disaster with services
including early response services, case management to develop family recovery
plans and emergency assistance.
